Nelson Jones

Nelson Jones is an activist within the movement to end human trafficking. Following a sex career and trafficking attempt, he chose to refocus his energies into promoting awareness against the epidemic. He began his efforts homeless, distributing flyers across his home state of North Carolina. In 2020, Nelson launched Trafficking Insights, where he conducts seminars, holds interviews with survivors and those who help them exit the lifestyle, sells merchandise, and more. Nelson is a former volunteer for Shield NC and currently assists Shannon Speaks as an outreach director. He intends to obtain a human trafficking prevention certification from the University of Florida in the near future.
